One of the challenges of living in a remote location is the accessibility of services.

But a new initiative from SANE Australia, SANE Forums, is finding that smart phones can be a game changer in the treatment of mental health problems for people living in rural areas.

Kristin lives in a regional area and she spoke to Rob Mailer of ABC Local Radio Queensland, sharing her struggle to find treatment for mental illness.

Rob Mailer also interviewed Jack Heath, CEO of SANE Australia, who said the SANE Forums were an example of the Australian mental health sector showing leadership by collaborating to build the world’s best mental health care system.
