Mind (formerly Richmond Fellowship Victoria and South Australia) is one of Australia’s largest non-government providers of mental health services to people living in the community and seeking to rebuild their lives. In addition to supporting the recovery of people with a mental illness we also assist people to break the cycle of homelessness and find safe and secure accommodation.
Mind provides services for people experiencing serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, severe depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder.
Over the past 30 years, thousands of people have been helped to live independent, productive and satisfying lives through involvement with our programs.
Mind supports clients in their journey of recovery, assisting them to rebuild belief in themselves, reconnect with family and friends and rediscover life.
Mind’s programs include; residential rehabilitation, outreach services, transition to independent living, transition to stable and secure accommodation, respite for carers, volunteer and mentor programs, individual service packages and programs that foster healthy living, creative expression and participation in employment.
