Courier Mail reviewer Terry Oberg described the book 'Working Stiff' as strangely schizophrenic, published 21 July 2007.

SANE Australia wrote to Mr Oberg, explaining that for people with schizophrenia, feeling accepted by others and being a part of the community makes a big difference to their wellbeing. SANE urged him to use more suitable language to describe duality.
