Glenn Milne described the government's attacks on opposition leader Kevin Rudd as resembling 'desperation if not schizophrenia', in The Sunday Telegraph on 29.7.07.
StigmaWatch contacted Mr Milne to encourage him to use different language when describing duality and changeability.
Mr Milne apologised for the wording and said that no harm was intended, promising the term would be avoided in future reports unrelated to mental illness.
