In her blog on the Daily Telegraph website Anita Quigley used the term 'schizophrenic' to describe the duality of David Hicks' ex-partner's stance on his character. In the blog, posted on 30.5.07, Ms Quigley suggested that Hicks' former de facto's change of heart regarding her children's association with their infamous father was schizophrenic.

StigmaWatch contacted Ms Quigley to remind her that schizophrenia does not involve multiple personalities.
