Courier Mail reporter Phil Hammond wrote 'We pause to listen to Albert’s lyrebird delivering a magnificently schizophrenic display of bird call mimicry’, published 10 August 2007.
SANE Australia wrote to Mr Hammond, explaining that for people with
schizophrenia, feeling accepted by others and being a part of the
community makes a big difference to their wellbeing. SANE urged him to
use more suitable language to describe duality.
