According to Stephen Scourfield of The West Australian, Patong beach in Phuket is 'schizophrenic' as it is laid back by day and a 'party animal' by night.
Mr Scourfield made this comment in the article 'Phuket at its bustling best' published on 16.12.06.
SANE Australia wrote to Mr Scourfield explaining how the incorrect use of the term only serves to perpetuate
the false notion that schizophrenia means 'split personality' or duality.
