Readers expressed distress about at the word 'deranged' to refer to people with mental illness and, the use of the word 'psychopath' to refer to psychotic.
Readers were concerned that the articles reinforced outdated myths about mental illness, generating stigma and fear. SANE Australia wrote to Ms Wuth, to convey reader's concerns.
