SANE StigmaWatch wrote to ABC Operatunity OZ Voice Coach, Ms Anna Connolly about viewers' concerns that she advised a singer to act a bit 'schizophrenic' in his performance.

Ms Connolly made the comment on the show on 15.10.06.

SANE advised Ms Connolly that using the term schizophrenic in this way can be of consequence for people affected by mental illness and can serve to stigmatise and trivialise people's experiences.
