According to Andrew Stevenson of the Sydney Morning Herald, fans of the St George Illawarra Dragons National Rugby League club border upon 'the schizophrenic'. The comment was made in the story 'Dream alive for coach who bleeds red and white' and was published on 22.09.06.
SANE Australia wrote to Mr Stevenson urging him to avoid using 'schizophrenic' to denote duality, in accordance with the Australian Government's guidelines on reporting mental illness and suicide.
