Ruth Williams, Business reporter for The Age, wrote that Telstra is 'a schizophrenic institution widely misunderstood' in the article 'Disconnecting from Telstra’ on 12.11.05.
SANE Australia wrote to Ms Williams on 22.11.05 explaining how the incorrect use of the term 'schizophrenic' only serves to perpetuate the false notion that schizophrenia means split personality or having a dual nature.
