Blackmores stress website (www.beatstress.com.au) encourages visitors who have been grumpy towards a workplace colleague to compose a letter of apology containing psychiatric terminology such as ‘psychotic’ and derogatory colloquialisms such as 'nutter'.

SANE Australia wrote to Blackmores on 14.09.05 urging the removal of the mocking and inappropriate terminology.

Simon Marks, Blackmores Senior Product Manager replied on 23.09.05 with a sincere apology to visitors distressed by the website. An internal review of website content has been commissioned, and offensive material will be removed. On 22.11.05 we spoke with Mr Marks again and he assured us that a time-line for the changes should be available soon.
