Sue Williams wrote an article on the retirement of David Pereira, Australia’s foremost cellist, entitled ‘Top cellist grateful as illness forces retirement’, published in The Australian on 13.4.07.

Ms Williams' article was praised for its hopeful message and balanced reporting of obsessive compulsive disorder.

The article told how Pereira believes his life has been saved by treatment and family support.
