The TheMHS Broadcast Media Award for 2007 went to journalist Sally Sara for 'Black Dog', featured on ABC TV's Landline. The story took a close look at the personal experiences of several men in rural Australia with depression, and also incorporated expert comment from several people from within the mental health sector.

The program was acclaimed for taking a balanced and humanising look at the problem of depression in rural areas and the road to recovery.
