'Cracking the SAD' by John Bailey, was published in The Age on 13.7.07 and gave an informative account of seasonal affective disorder. Mr Bailey's article promoted awareness of how common depression is and how winter can make some people more susceptible to it. A range of helpful suggestions on managing SAD were offered.
