ABC TV'S Australian Story won Suicide Prevention Australia's broadcast media LiFe Award for the program 'Down to Earth'. The show featured the story of Brian Egan and shared his journey from post traumatic stress disorder, to drought and depression, through to his vast success in establishing a charity to help struggling farmers. 'Down to Earth' was highly praised for demonstrating the power of hope and potential for recovery for those affected by mental illness and hardship.
