The latest issue of SANE News is a special issue on Drugs and Mental Illness. Australians are big drug users, but the risks of using drugs are even greater for people living with a mental illness. Ongoing use of drugs after a diagnosis of mental illness brings a host of other problems.

The previous issue of SANE News was on on SANE's Mindful Employer program. The Mindful Employer Program aims to make positive outcomes far more likely when an employee experiences a mental health problem – positive for the employee and for the employer. It provides an understanding of the different mental illnesses, including signs, symptoms and treatments, as well as skills to respond to mental health problems at work.
