1006_acti_hlrep10.jpg'SANE Helpline 2010: A report on SANE Australia's national mental illness helpline' reveals widespread internet access has dramatically affected SANE Helpline operations.

The SANE Helpline is changing fast, in line with wider changes in how we communicate with each other and find information. While the overall number of calls for help is not decreasing, they are becoming more complex, are more likely to be suicide-related, and are increasingly likely to arrive via the Internet rather than as phone calls.
