A Will is a legal document that lets the people closest to you know how you want to share your property and money after your lifetime.
A Bequest is a clause in your will that directs the executor of your Will to distribute a portion, or in some cases all of your estate to your preferred charity.
A Bequest to SANE will make a lifetime of difference to people who live with mental illness. Your thoughtfulness and generosity will help us to touch so many more lives.
To make a Bequest to SANE please ask your legal advisor to use the following:
"I give and bequeath the sum of . . . . . dollars free from all duties death estate succession or otherwise State or Federal to SANE Australia (ACN 006 533 606) for its general purposes and I declare that the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer for the time being thereof shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my trustees for this bequest without them being responsible for seeing to the application thereof."
When you make a Will, it is a good idea to let you loved ones know that it is important to you to contribute to the work of SANE by leaving a Bequest.
