SANE Australia is a national charity working for a better life for people affected by mental illness through:
Campaigns
SANE campaigns for improved services for, and attitudes towards, people affected by mental illness.
As
well as ongoing advocacy for improved services, SANE lobbies on
specific issues such as the effect of welfare reform and drug
strategies on the lives of people with a mental illness.
SANE's StigmaWatch program monitors and pursues stigma against people with a mental illness in the media.

SANE promotes understanding of mental illness through an award-winning
range of education products and services for those affected, their family and
friends, health professionals and the general community:
